1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made with SK Canvas Limited, a UK-based provider of wedding videography and photography services. By booking our services, you agree to be legally bound by these terms.
2. Booking & Payment
A booking fee is required to secure the date and service. This booking fee is non-refundable and non-transferable, as it covers administrative costs and loss of potential business for the reserved date. The remaining balance must be paid before or on the event date. Extra charge will be applied £50 per hour. Failure to pay the full balance on time may result in cancellation of services without refund of the booking fee. Accepted payment method bank transfer only.
3. Cancellation by Client
All cancellations must be made in writing via email to info@skcanvas.co.uk. Refunds are subject to the following conditions:
- More than 60 days before the wedding: Full refund minus booking fee.
- 30-59 days before the wedding: 50% refund of total fee (excluding booking fee).
- Less than 30 days before the wedding: No refund.
4. Cancellation by SK Canvas Ltd
If we are forced to cancel due to serious illness, accident, or other unforeseeable circumstances
- A full refund will be issued, including the booking fee.
- We will attempt to help find a suitable replacement service provider but are not obligated to do so.
5. Refund Policy
Refunds will only be provided under the following conditions:
- A complete technical failure resulting in total loss of deliverables.
- – Failure by SK Canvas Limited to deliver the agreed final content within 120 days of the event without valid explanation or contact.
No refunds will be issued for:
- Dissatisfaction based on subjective preferences.
- – Missed shots due to delays or venue restrictions.
- – Environmental or technical issues beyond our control.
- – Post-delivery edit requests not agreed in advance.
6. Client Responsibilities
The client must provide a detailed event schedule. Access to venues and cooperation from guests must be arranged. SK Canvas Limited is not liable for missed moments due to time constraints or third-party interference. A suggested shot list can be submitted, but not all shots are guaranteed.
7. Delivery of Work
- Initial edited photographs will be delivered within 5-6 weeks.
- Final video highlights and full film will be delivered within 7-8 weeks.
- Delays may occur during peak season; clients will be notified.
- SK CANVAS LTD won’t provide RAW data/footage.
Delivery timelines may vary during peak seasons; clients will be informed of any delays.
8. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights
All images and videos remain the copyright of SK Canvas Limited. Clients are granted personal use rights only. SK Canvas Limited reserves the right to use selected work for portfolio, website, and marketing unless the client opts out in writing.
9. Editing & Correction
The package includes up to a round of editing/corrections for photos and videos. Corrections should be informed within 48 hours of getting the link. Any further requests for revisions beyond the included limit will incur an additional fee of £50 per round of correction. Clients are advised to provide clear feedback during the included correction round to ensure timely delivery.
10. Limitation of Liability
Our maximum liability in any case shall not exceed the amount paid by the client. We are not responsible for emotional damages or consequential losses.
11. Data Protection & Privacy
Client data is stored securely and used only for service delivery. SK Canvas Limited complies with UK GDPR regulations.
12. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our control (e.g. natural disasters, pandemics, equipment theft).
13. Chargeback Protection
By making payment of the booking fee, the client acknowledges and agrees that this payment is non-refundable and not subject to chargeback or dispute.
14. Complaints & Dispute Resolution
Any concerns or complaints must be raised in writing within seven (7) days of final delivery. Both parties agree to make reasonable efforts to resolve any dispute amicably and in good faith before initiating legal proceedings. This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any legal action shall be brought within that jurisdiction.
15. Copyright
All photos and videos remain the intellectual property and copyright of SK Canvas Limited.
16. Data Storage
SK Canvas will storage the data until the final delivery received by the client
